LOCATION
Conference room V, Clarion Hotel, 530 Richards Drive, Manhattan, KSThe Church is the people coming together to worship God, it isn't the building. As we continue to grow and save up for a more permanent location we are saving money by renting a conference room (number 5) from the Clarion Hotel in Manhattan, Kansas. It is located at 530 Richards Drive, Manhattan, KS. We at Redemption Lutheran Church seek to find the positive in the journey that God gives us. The Clarion Hotel offers a lot parking and it is easily accessible. Although we have to put everything away at the end of each service. It gives all of us who help a time to be in service to the Lord together. The Children pick up the hymnals and put them away, while the adults put away the offering, digital organ, cross and other service pieces.
WORSHIP SERVICE and COMMUNION
Sundays at 10:30, Communion every SundayWe currently offer one worship service at 10:30 AM on Sundays. We plan to provide more services as our congregation grows. The service itself is a traditional Lutheran service with responsive reading, prayers, scripture readings and a sermon. Communion is also provided at every service. *All baptized Christians are invited to receive Communion. The Sacrament is for all who trust in Jesus Christ who is present in bread and wine, offering forgiveness to those who repent of their sins. If you prefer grape juice, hold up your hand, palm toward the pastor. Live music is also provided by a very talented organist. More information available on the Worship Service Information page.
OFFERING
Offering is generally taken after the sermon as another way to show our thanks to the Lord. Please do not feel obligated to give. Although we greatly appreciate any and all contributions we do not expect visitors to give to a Church that is not their own yet. Give as you are able and as the Lord compels you to.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sundays at 9:30 AMRedemption Lutheran Church offers sunday school for both adults and children every Sunday before worship service at 9:30 AM. More information available on the Sunday School page.
FELLOWSHIP
Friendly people with growing fellowship opportunitiesExpect to be greeted by a multiple of people. We very much welcome all visitors and will be eager to greet you and find out more about you. Single people, families and children are all welcomed in the house of the Lord. We are always looking for more ways to have fellowship with our congregation and visitors so as to share our love of God and the power of the Word.
